The four availability groups
| Availability group | Grimoires |
|---|---|
| Starter books | Fire, Wind, Water |
| More books to discover | Earth, Lightning, Plant, Poison, Chain, Mercury |
| Lucky finds | World Tree, Dark |
| Very rare finds | Light, Star, Time, Anti-Magic |
Read this as a roster, not a damage table. Mercury, Star and Time belong in the full list; a comparison containing only twelve books leaves those choices out. The group labels here are plain-language availability descriptions rather than formal combat tier names.
For the complete book roster, search and filter all 15 books.
ItzVexo's preferences
In the walkthrough above, ItzVexo favours Light and Anti-Magic, then recommends Dark as another target. That is a creator's preference from the demonstrated build, not a complete head-to-head test of every grimoire. Use the video to see the choice in context rather than converting it into a guaranteed best-book claim.
World Tree, Mercury, Star and Time should not disappear from your comparison just because a walkthrough focuses on different books. If you are choosing between two options, look at the moves you can use and the progression you have completed on each one.
A better test than the rarity label
- Compare books at the same spell checkpoint where possible. Book Lv 10 and 20 unlock spells without another spin.
- Keep awakening progress in view. Damage and critical performance improve through awakening, and the fifth unlocks an ultimate.
- Try a manageable, repeatable fight and pay attention to how comfortably you use the moves and dodge.
- Separate a questing choice from an Arena goal. PvP entry starts at Player Lv 250; access alone does not settle which book you prefer.
When preparing your next awakening, plan the awakening side of a comparison.
To plan the next unlock, check the spell and PvP milestones.
Should you spin or keep levelling?
If your immediate goal is the next spell, keep developing your current book toward its Book Level checkpoint. If the goal is trying a different move set, choose a specific replacement to aim for rather than treating every starter book as unusable.
Claim any available code rewards before planning a purchase, but keep race rerolls separate from grimoire resources. For a new character, a completed quest and a spell unlock are useful progress even when your book is not the rarest one on the list.
Before spending your resources, check rewards before spending.
For the first steps in-game, make progress with your starting book.
Before changing your race, keep race choices separate.
