Keep developing the book you have

Book Lv 10

A new spell unlocks through combat progression.

Book Lv 20

Another spell unlocks on that same book.

Fight with your current book to gain book levels. Those spell milestones do not require a second spin. Your player level advances separately: use the level checkpoint tool if you are unsure which number controls an unlock.

Rarity is one part of the decision

Fire, Wind and Water form the starter group. Earth, Lightning, Plant, Poison, Chain and Mercury broaden the roster. World Tree and Dark are lucky finds, while Light, Star, Time and Anti-Magic are the very rare group.

Those groups do not give a damage multiplier, a spin percentage or a purchase price. Before replacing a developed book, compare how its skills handle the fights you actually do. The grimoire comparison guide separates that decision from the availability labels.

What comes after the spell unlocks?

Awakening uses collected materials and Spell Pages from bosses. Each awakening sharpens damage and critical chance; the fifth unlocks the book’s ultimate. Use the awakening tracker to keep that five-stage target separate from Book Lv.

New players should first build a reliable combat loop with the spells they can already use. The beginner guide covers that opening sequence, and reward codes can supply extra Gems, Yul or race rerolls without changing which book-level threshold you need.
